Among the diseases treated by the internist are liver, metabolic and immunological conditions, hormonal and metabolic disorders, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal ailments, but also infections, as well as diseases affecting the lungs, kidneys or blood. Finally, internists can diagnose and treat other nervous and musculoskeletal disorders, as well as sleep disregulations.<\/p>\n
